Renaming factions

I'm thinking of renaming factions (this also includes commands). The reason for this is that there is a plugin called Factions and I want Saga to be different. Also, the alternatives sound better.

I like guilds better that clans, but they do not sound combat oriented.

I vote guilds.

I also think we should reset the pvp world as it has too much spawned stuff. I think we should reset it and make it pure survival perhaps with towns.
Faction leaders/grandmasters could make a very basic wooden fort to fspawn in. This should only take like up to a max of 3 days.
Newbies to the pvp world should spawn with only wooden tools/sword and faction leaders get leather armor and stone tools.
The wooden fort would also contain 2 cows to breed.

I think if we did something like this, the pvp world would be much more competitive and fun, since not everyone will have diamond/iron armor right away. Also, perhaps no mobs so they cant get enchanted weapons, but xp potions from events, not so sure on this though.

I like Guilds, because people were always being confused between Factions and the Saga Factions, if you wanted you could even do Races but that would be a bit much ( Like each race would get a special kit I guess Dwarf-Human-Elf stuff like that, but id prefer Factions/Guilds ^^

guilds is nice, better than clans, but ya skyrim related? i alos like factions still to tho. and what commands would faction/guild leaders have?

I'm still having trouble convincing myself to rename factions to guilds. When you hear guild, then you think of things like fighters/mages guild in Skyrim. I think of irl guilds that deal with trading and crafting stuff. Guilds just don't sound like they have something to do with combat.

Is everyone who voted for guilds ok with clans?

i think clans are like c.o.d. or something. i think its kinda crappy and unriginal, but whatever

Meh, I agree with fluxx. When I hear clan I think of Call of duty and stuff. Guilds also weren't used only in The Elder Scrolls, they are also in WoW and other games.

I think guild has a better ring to it.
