Capping town square glitch and mods in pvp.

I was trying to cap the blue_diamond town square and nothing happened, this also happened to asian when he tp'd to me for a test. Not sure if its a glitch or not.

Also, the main topic, Mods and PvP.
I dont think mods should be able to pvp, or at the least they should be much more closely monitored.
Why?
Well, I know that at least two mods, Asian and Red, both have protection 4 armor and god swords (Sharpness 5 Fire 2 Knockback 2).
Red says his is largely from the enderdragon but I also dont like this. Only the mods were there that fight and it is a debate if they even found it legitimately. Who isnt to say some cheating wasnt involved in the killing of the dragon? Red also lost this armor but had it given back to him by an admin....

I also believe that these two have tp'd to people before since I have had a few mods tell me this and Im not entirely sure how they got to Archuleta9 a few times without tping. And I can only guess that more tping has occurred that wasnt by these two.

It seems like when mods get into pvp there are many areas where cheating may have occured but since they are mods, it is all overlooked.

My suggestion is simply to not let mods pvp. This way, no armor spawning or tp issues or anything else arise.

This is also not an attack on any mods. I cant prove that red or asian cheated and dont really want to try.

This isnt just this update too, it happens in all of the maps.

Mods always get the best gear and nothing happens. It just kind of seems fishy.
They also seem to get maxxed stats before everyone else. Case in point: Asian has maxed strength and has 20 toughness, it isnt just him but he is the only one i know of so far.

OK pep my Armour was re spawned because ALL my stuff at the time the server crashed was wiped so i asked Matt to re spawn my stuff so he did. also mods don't get time to build houses and stuff so they just mine straight to find diamonds then make Armour and stuff and head out for the dragon

Ah, Broadcast just said Dragon spawns gear for mods. This is why they shouldnt pvp. I shouw up at a settlement and get killed by asian (Who had god on) then I demand a tp back and duel. He wins because guess what he has! Prot 4 armor and a god sword So much fun and its soooo fair!

Not all mods pep I was referring to AsianHipster, AsianHipster had Protection Iv and Fire protection Iv and Feather falling Iv and all of that god armour and when me and K4 questioned him he told us that Dragon had spawned it for him, I believe Red is clean besides a bit of unfairness when the rollback happened An admin spawned back his stuff for him unlike the rest of the unlucky players who had good stuff in they're inv when the rollback happened. I didnt mean to put in confusion and andf if you make it so Mods cant pvp Id like to resign

. That was a while ago. Now, there is proof that spawning is happening and this isnt fair.

Dragon came on and is trying to say the armour is his, I dont see how that is possible seeing as he doenst play much survival and he says he got it from killing people and if anyone ahd that kind of armour then Red wouldnt be unbeatable... Lets see what andf thinks

First off Wetaker, Dragon Didn't Spawn that armor for Asianhipster. He just Let him Borrow it So that he can kill red. Tbh Who here can kill red?!? He spawned it for himself, That's why hes not in a Faction he kills everybody. Even mod's. Dragon Didnt mean to Lend it to Asian to kill us all. Asian TOOK Advantage of it. His Mission was ment to kill redrooster Only. The Sword was Legit. The Armor was legit As well, The Enchants Were from getting Xp from ppl in the arena. The only problem I see is that Asianhipster Took Advantage of it.

Now Red And his Gang were going around towns RAPING everyone in a faction and some people were forced to run away from there settles and even QUIT THERE OWN FACTION!

( My Armor and Weapons Have No other use then for Killing the players who kill everyone in the Arena or Outside, i think it was a fair use in this case)

Yes, I was demodded for giving out armor. Wasnt because I used /invsee to spawn tnt or anything! Oh wait, you mean when I gave adison, one of the most trusted and best mods on the server armor? That was when I lost BUILDER. I also never had god armor, I would have a decently enchanted sword but I pvp'd as a mod before enchants became popular, I think my average enchants were around level 20. Really, I didnt do hell of a lot of pvp while I was mod. I tried warrior and rogue classes with you but once I was off the top board, I quit.

1) I never see you pvp in the arena when I am on. I see that you are on the top board though so you obviously dont simply use the armor to just kill red. Also, why are you needed? I have cleared out the arena and so has red and k4 and a list of other players. We dont need a god gear admin to sweep the place clear.
2) How long would it have taken for asian to kill red? A max of 10 min? You dont need to give him satan armor for hours, and yes I mean hours. Not one or two. And why give it to asian the trial mod?
3) I consider "lending" someone satan armor spawning. Besides, if you feel comfortable lending him this armor for a few hours, why not spawn him some god armor too?
4) I have killed red. It is completely possible. Sometimes you have to get lucky or go in a group of 2 or 3. Really doesnt require a suit of armor that has the best enchants possible.

Dragon, you make me sad.
1) I died more than once, more than twice, if I remember right, I died more than 3 times! At least with red I had a chance to win. Asian took over 20 hits with my sword and probably had 1/2 left if not more. Red would have been running for his life.
2) I have been in this position before, getting killed 10+ times. The solution? Stay in your locked home until he leaves or get gear good enough to fight him. Or trap him. Or build something to snipe him from. The list goes on but guess what isnt on there. Giving someone satan armor and sating have fun!

This all circles back to my main point: Mods Shouldnt Be Able To PvP. This ENTRIRE ordeal occurred because an admin gave a mod armor to go kill another mod. Not a normal player involved in the armor and spawning stuff....

And once again, Im not on a crusade to get anyone demodded or anything, just want to bring some of the pvp issues up and share my opinion.

The enchantments on that one set of armor was /enchant the rest of the armor in my chests ( also weps) are all legit.

Btw ive used the very same armor and LOADS OF POTIONS to Kill red in the arena and he is UNBEATABLE.....

No Red and you guys are the people that do thoose things ( i end up killing the other guys, im not always on when you pvp you know )

Again, this is kind of an example of why I think mods shouldnt be able to pvp. With the average normal person who is looking suspicious, they usually have xray or something easy to find. Mods can make this thread happen.

Settlements can't be claimed if the owning faction is not online. This is to prevent loosing all the claims to a single player when everyone is offline.

Claiming is also stopped when owning faction is present in the town square.


I'm keeping out of politics for now.

I do belive red needs his sword at least taken away from him, the best enchant you can get on a sword now is sharp 4 fire, knockback and looting, i know this because i enchanted two doubble chests of swords in creative mode on my ssp world. I havent tried armour yet, but i'll make another post when i have. Also, about the mods instantly getting the dragon, i honestly dont care. It would be nice to organise an event for the server where everyone goes into the End and slays the dragon, sharing the exp, but the mods always get there first. And in the End i have seen fireballs everywhere, before skills were able to be trained. I myself would love to create an enderman exp farm, by either flooding or halfslabbing the End.

If you allow an admin to spawn himself a pair of the best armour and give it out of mods saying to go kill the best people in the arena, and you just use all the god sh*t you /enchanted then I would just disable the pvp on the server... I mean whats the point of getting good if an admin with all his /enchanted gear comes and just kills you and laughs, yeah thats a great server... Seriously I dont think thats exactly a solution to the problem, oh there is someone good in the arena lets go /enchant all my armour and kill him!!! Yay. The point is I dont want to play on a server where I work super hard, like Red and Wurd do, Then someone come along that hasnt had to do any work and just kills us all..

Wetaker and myself have an idea.
We could use saga based arenas. This would allow for better matches.
A 1-15 level
16-30
31-40
41-50
And a FAA arena.

This way, people could have better matches since you know the new player with like 6 strength and 2 toughness isnt going to be able to compete with someone with maxed strength and 20 toughness. Plus there is a FFA arena for fun.

This would solve the arena issue, but what about general faction stuff? We still run into the problem of you killing everyone.

Perhaps the mods could form their own faction and claim towns such as spawns and make mod only towns?
