Lostboy's New Tradition?

While watching the introduction to hunger games, when the lady in the make up and scheissa was announcing the names, an idea hit me!

Lostboys should have something where every friday one faction member will be chosen from the many factions and will be expected to show up to the hungergames server which lostboys can run. Players will survive against each other to win stuff for their faction!

And if they don't show up? Any How, I like the Idea.

then their faction forfeits the winnings!

The problem with this kind of events is that usually only dedicated players take part. And it's not much of a event in that case.

Here is how you can make player participate:
1) Make it simple. People will loose interest fast if it is complicated. This includes all kind of alternative servers and complex rules.
2) As many as possible players should know about it.
3) Must have a some kind of reward.
4) Yo must be persistent! If first time no-one shows up, you must not give up. This one is important.

In my opinion, here is how you can do it:
1) Each faction chooses one member to participate. Winner gets the champion title for an entire week. Mods with uber armour can't participate! Or just limit enchantments.
2) We need broadcasting plugin. And the time should be the same every Friday.
3) Champion gets VIP for a week.
4) We need a mod who can set things up every Friday.

If you have your own ideas then let me know.

I can host a small server for Fridays, why the hell not. People could get there items on lostboys and then when we have proof of those items they can play.

as you know andf ill be holding that tournament so me and adi were thinking about holding a tournament every Friday or second Friday. comments?

You need to hold it on lostboys. Changing servers is not a good idea.

Enchantments are too powerful. And moderators have /god, which makes it far too easy to get exp required for those ubers. And don’t forget that ender grinder. Normal player (or unlucky players who didn’t get to use that grinder) just cant compete.
