Looking into 1.3

So, I, Mavric would like to own a faction in 1.3! And If so, I'd like to name it myself but if not I'm fine with that. (It would stick with the themes). Now I know nearly everyone on the server would like to own a faction.
"So what would give you the rights?!"
Well I'd like to own one because I feel like I haven't really been doing much with factions lately and 1.3 would be perfect for me to restart with the hole faction stuff!
If I were to own one I'd call it 'Blade/Blades' seeing as thought the faction themes will be clans/guild

This bugs me for some weird reason: It is usually Sincerely yours, [name].

The theme wont be guilds/clans, that is what factions may be called instead of factions. Im not sure if we have a theme yet.

I think I will not rename factions after all. Too much to change and factions are fine.

Also, mav, you don’t need to post your name everywhere. You are not writing a formal letter to everyone here. It may feel official to you, but it looks silly to me.

I disagree with everyone making their own faction.

We tried this, the results were a ton of factions made up of 1-5 people. These factions cant compete in faction wars and other events because of the lack of people.

I'm not sure setting the amount of factions is a wise thing to do but if you want everyone to be able to make their own then there needs to be limits.

- A faction should have a cap, perhaps 30?
- A faction must have at least 5 people to be formed.

The new way of running factions isnt great, but it does allow for more pvp than before. If we were to use a cap, we could prevent factions like Druid from growing to include hundreds of people. If you implement a cap, that could be 2-3 more factions.

Okay, so I think anyone should make there own but they need say 10 people to make the faction.

Ehh... Then you will have everyone trying to make factions and they wont be able to get the people. They also wont join other people's factions since they want their own.

Idea! If they can get the ten people, they can make a forum post requesting for a new faction to be made.

You could have like fights If you wins, he joins your factionsss.
