    Here is what I had in mind:
    Saga will no longer use minecraft levels, because that makes enchanting too accessible. Instead there will be a level and exp under /stats. You will get exp for profession/class specific actions. Once you level up, you get a certain amount of points that you can spend on upgrading skills.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

    hmm i like the idea but it will be to easy to level thingins up then cause you mine you can xp for mineing to easy

    I can make it harder by reducing exp gain.

    No, signs are still in.

    You get levels for mining, woodcutting, mobs etc and you can use signs to spend points on skill upgrades. Levels arent the same as mc levels.

    another thing i think you could add is a faction spawn (/fspawn), cause people keep asking if they can do that, it might be good especially if the 'new era' idea goes ahead. I dunno just an idea i had Razz

    ik Razz but it should be like if you are doing something say idk mining you should gain xp for the very group that is called mining and instead of clicking a sign it automatically does it for you when it gets to a certain xp point then it sets over and goes on and on till it gets to the max level

    I don't want it to be like mcmmo, so I'm going more with diablo approach.
    Basically when you level you can spend all your skill points how you want to (within class/prof limitations).

    But I like the whole mining = mc levels Sad It makes it so that those who dont want to kill monsters can simply hack away at the dirt and still level up. Woodcutters can still level up and it isnt a hard task or one that might kill you. Perhaps reduce xp gained from them, but I think the mc level gain is still very nice. flower Random flower.

    I agree with pepsda
    The whole thing about the MC leveling and the Saga being intertwined makes it so that you dont need full diamond armor or a monster spawner to train your levels up
    All you need is a pick
    makes it so much easier do things with the current system

    p.s. Diablo III in JULY!!!!!!!!

    i wanted something like skyrim say in skyrim you use a 1 handed sword every time you use a one handed sword the section one handed sword gains xp so i think if you are cutting trees then you gain xp for the profession woodsmen
